Browsing & Purchasing Photos

Event photographers may capture photos and short video clips during competitions. You can browse watermarked previews and purchase the full-resolution originals.

Browsing the Gallery

1. Click My Photos in the sidebar
2. Select the event
3. Browse the gallery — all previews are shown with a watermark overlay

Gallery Features

• Filter by competitor — If your account has multiple competitors, select one to view only their media
• Filter by entry — Narrow down to photos from a specific entry (e.g. "Jazz Solos")
• Photo and video tabs — Switch between photos and video clips
• Thumbnail grid — Click any thumbnail to view a larger watermarked preview

Video clips in the gallery are short watermarked previews (up to 10 seconds). When you purchase a video, you receive the full-length original.

Purchasing Individual Items

1. Click the heart or cart icon on any photo or video to add it to your cart
2. Review your cart — it shows each item with its price
3. Choose Card or PayPal at checkout
4. Once payment is confirmed, your purchased media becomes available for download

Packages

Some events offer photo packages — for example:

• All photos of a particular competitor
• All photos from a specific entry
• A bundle of photos and videos combined

Packages are offered at a discounted price compared to buying each item individually. If a package is available, you'll see it highlighted in the gallery.

Downloads

• Purchased files are available from the My Photos page — look for the download icon on purchased items
• Downloads are full-resolution and unwatermarked
• Download links are available for a limited time, so save your files promptly
• You can re-download during the availability window if needed

WARNING

Download links expire after a set period. Make sure to save your purchased media to your device as soon as possible.

Pricing

Pricing is set by the event organiser and may vary between events. Common pricing includes:

• Per photo — A fixed price for each individual photo
• Per video clip — A fixed price for each video clip (may differ from photo pricing)
• Packages — Bundled pricing at a discount

All prices are shown including any applicable taxes.

FAQ

Why are the previews watermarked?

Watermarks protect the photographer's work. Once you purchase a photo or video, the watermark is removed and you receive the original high-quality file.

Can I request photos of a specific performance?

Contact the event organiser — the photographer may be able to prioritise specific performances.

How long are downloads available?

This depends on the event organiser's data retention settings. Typically, downloads are available for several months after the event. Check with your organiser if you need files after an extended period.
