Watching Critiques

Some events offer audio or video critiques — recorded feedback from judges on individual performances. These are a great way to learn and improve.

How to Watch

1. Click Critiques in the sidebar
2. Select your competitor profile
3. Select the event
4. Browse the critiques available for your performances
5. Click a performance to play the audio or video critique

Downloading Critiques

Each critique has a Download button so you can save the file to your device. Audio critiques are available as MP3 files and video critiques as MP4 files.

Availability

• Critiques are only available if the organiser recorded and uploaded them — not every event offers this
• Some organisers release critiques all at once after the event rather than immediately. If you see a message saying "Critiques Not Yet Available", the organiser has not yet released them — check back later
• You can re-watch and re-download critiques as many times as you like while they're available
• Critique files are stored for a limited time (typically 90 days) based on the organiser's data retention policy

Troubleshooting

• "Critiques Not Yet Available" — the organiser is using timed release and hasn't published critiques yet. Check back after the event
• No critiques showing — the organiser may not have uploaded critiques for your performance, or the event may not include critique recording
• Video won't play on iPhone — some video formats (e.g. WebM) are not supported on iOS. Use the download button and try playing the file in a different app
