Managing Live Streams

Offer paid live streams of your events for remote viewers.

Accessing Stream Management

Click Live Streams in the sidebar, or the Streams button next to an event on the Events page.

Creating a Stream

1. Go to the Streams tab
2. Click Create Stream
3. Set up:
   • Title and description
   • Price for viewers
   • Scheduled start time
4. Save — you'll receive RTMP ingest details (URL and stream key) to use in your broadcasting software (e.g. OBS Studio)

Going Live

1. Configure your broadcasting software with the RTMP URL and stream key
2. Start your broadcast
3. The stream status updates to "Live" automatically
4. Viewers who have purchased access can tune in

During the Stream

• Health tab — monitor viewer count and stream quality
• Chat moderation — delete messages, ban disruptive users, or close chat entirely

Revenue

The Revenue tab shows total stream purchases and income breakdown.

Built-in Protections

CDN includes anti-piracy measures:

• Signed playback URLs — viewers can't share working links
• One device at a time per purchase
• Watermark overlay identifying the viewer
• Download and screen-recording prevention

Tips

• Run a test stream before the event to verify audio/video quality
• Ensure a stable, high-bandwidth internet connection at the venue
• Assign someone to monitor chat during the stream
